In my last testing video with my RC No Prep Drag Car, I noticed the car kept pulling right down track and realized it looked like the wheel hexes were rounded out and spinning inside the wheels a little. Not sure if this was my main problem but I wanted to address it anyway. I picked up another set of hexes as well as another set of Proline Split Six Beadlock wheels (2715-04).
You might've noticed though, I don't use the beadlock rings that come with the wheels. I designed and 3d printed my own beadlock rings that use all 12 bolt holes in the wheels instead of just 6, and has a more scale drag racing style appearance! I've really liked the way these rings make the wheels look and add some scale detail to the car. In this video, I go through how I install them, which is pretty straight forward, and get a new set of wheels on the car!!
Hope you Enjoy the Video!!
