2 BABA | STATE OF THE NATION | OFFICIAL VIDEO

*STATE OF THE NATION (Official Video)* This is not just a song. This is a message. *STATE OF THE NATION* is a conscious *Reggae × Afrobeats fusion* about the everyday reality of ordinary Nigerians — rising costs, unemployment, poor infrastructure, insecurity, power failures, broken promises, division, and the frustration of watching a country with so much potential struggle to move forward. But this song is not only about what is wrong. It is also about *unity, resilience, accountability, hope, and the belief that Nigeria can still rise.* From the market woman counting every naira, to the graduate searching for work, to the doctor, teacher, farmer, driver, artisan, student, and parent trying to survive — this song speaks for the people who keep going even when the system makes life harder. The message is simple: **We no hate our country. Na why we dey speak.** Silence is not progress. Division will not save us. Tribe will not feed us. Religion will not fix the roads. Arguments will not create jobs. What we need is leadership, responsibility, opportunity, justice, and a country that works for everybody. **If Hausa man hungry, hunger still be hunger. If Yoruba man suffer, pain still be pain. If Igbo man struggle, struggle still be struggle.** Before tribe, before religion, before politics... **We are people. We are Nigerians. And we deserve better.** If you believe Nigeria can be better, share this song. If you believe the people deserve to be heard, play it loud. If you still believe in tomorrow... Stand up. Speak up. *STATE OF THE NATION.* CREDITS *Artist / Channel:* AFROBEAT247 *Song:* STATE OF THE NATION *Written & Concept:* AFROBEAT247 *Creative Direction:* AFROBEAT247 *Music Production Concept:* AFROBEAT247 *Visual Concept:* AFROBEAT247 © 2026 **AFROBEAT247**.
