When Savage Axe and SAED become One

Although I spend the majority of time flaming the (worst map in Wilds that no one asked AT Ark to be placed in that is) Wyveria map and turf wars, you make everything lighter. About the run itself. Wylk roar was an average decent 2'1x pace. I was off rhythm, so I didn't even practice what I said of "doing a lot of damage on the Wylk roar to set up an easy first Wylk phase." I made one single mistake right before the zone change, because I wanted to delay the power clash to a headbutt and not his biggest opening dive. I tensed and threw a knife and took one hit, which costed several seconds purely from my blunder (I used to do that all the time when I was first learning GL AT Ark and dodging flame lines). Otherwise, the run is impeccably played but nothing spectacular. That is to say, sub 8 is far from the limit. My PB Wylk roar is 1'50 on stream, which I think is the WR. And you just need a bit better moveset luck to push this into 7:0x. I think I've been playing at 7'30 level but was mentally holding myself back for a long time. I rewatched my attempts on stream and many were 7'30 worthy runs for the first 5'30 minutes, and either I get BS'd or lose my cool, usually both, in the last 1~2 minutes. After I realized that, the sub 8 was pretty free, which I got in 1 hour of a casual session. Lastly, I learned a lot from ‪@SeedmanMH‬ , who I believe is the most skilled AT Ark CB player, and it's not even close. ‪@島一刀‬ also gave me useful tips of openings and CB play in general. Gonna try out Impact phial TA wiki now, but element phial wiki Ark is the most magical matchup in Wilds imo, out of all the runs I've done. As with Gunlance, AT Ark pushes Charge Blade to the absolute limit where you need to master guard points, phial management, zero hitstop savage axe, reverse GP AED, move predictions, handbreak predictions, SAED predictions, and so much more.
