When God Says Go Into the Desert -You Don't Understand , Just Obey

what if the place you keep calling a setback is actually the place God is sending you? In Acts 8, Philip was experiencing an incredible move of God in Samaria—people were responding to the gospel, lives were changing, and there was great joy. But then God told him to leave and go toward a desert road. It didn't look like progress. It didn't look productive. It didn't make sense. But Philip obeyed. And on that seemingly empty road, God had already prepared a divine appointment. An Ethiopian official was traveling through the desert, reading the scroll of Isaiah, searching for understanding. He had position, access, resources, and the Word in his hands—but he still needed someone to point him to Jesus. Sometimes God will lead you away from what looks successful because He has an assignment waiting for you somewhere you never expected.
