Keu a Ka U‘i Inspired by the kind words of Dr. Kahikina DeSilva and brought to fruition with the help of Dr. R. Keawe Lopes. This mele wahi hoʻohanohano was written for my home in Oneawa, Kailua. A place where pua kenikeni trees bloom with second-to-none fragrance, where kupa noho such as ʻĀpuakea are still present, where songs of old are still heard, where the warm breeze is a constant reminder of the treasures still to be found in Kailua.
