Domino's supply chain — the line that sells flour, cheese and boxes to
franchisees — is 60.5% of the company's revenue. It's also the thinnest
margin business Domino's runs (~9.9% in FY2024). The real profit sits in
international franchise royalties: just 6.9% of revenue, but roughly 81.8%
of it drops straight to operating income, because royalty revenue carries
no cost of sales. One dollar of international royalty produces about 8.3
times more profit than one dollar of supply chain revenue.

📌 Did the 60.5%-revenue / 9.9%-margin split surprise you, or did you already
assume supply chain wasn't where the money was?
