The drink still has 7 ingredients, but reads as a more basic Tiki-style cocktail but it is far from basic. The main flavors are agricole and pot still rum with spice from the pimento dram and cinnamon. It's an excellent cocktail where the spice holds up to the intense rums. _Recipes at the bottom of this description_ *_Some links below are affiliate links that may lead to a commission paid to the channel_* *Full Amazon Store:* https://www.amazon.com/shop/makeanddrink 🍋 *Best Citrus Hand Juicer:* https://amzn.to/4bU1tjY 🍍 *My Big Juicer of Choice:* https://amzn.to/4k5xkSE 🧊 *Nugget Ice and Tools:* https://amzn.to/3yH3zFe 🌺 *Cocktail Garnish Game:* https://amzn.to/3UQ8v26 🍷 *Glassware:* https://amzn.to/4bOK2SA 📚 *Cocktail Books:* https://amzn.to/3WwwR19 🍾 *Crew Bottles with removable base:* Save 20% on your first order with the link below: https://crewsupplyco.refr.cc/Crew-Affiliate/u/makeanddrinkvideos?s=sp&t=cp ✨ *From the MakeAndDrink Shop* ✨ Find Mai Tai glasses, enamel pins, tasting glasses, and some of my own personal glassware for sale at the MaD Shop: https://make-and-drink-shop.fourthwall.com ❄️ *Favorite Slushie Machines* ❄️ *Ninja SLUSHi Max* Amazon: https://amzn.to/42OhZzU Walmart: https://walmrt.us/48CcEyE *Ninja SLUSHi* Amazon: https://amzn.to/3VbzhTI Walmart: https://walmrt.us/49HYFZk *HiCozy:* https://amzn.to/4pM8VFq *Ecoviva:* https://amzn.to/4nzAPmP ☃️ *Margarita Man Mixes:* https://margaritaman.com/?ref=qcqzwaia Use Code *MakeAndDrink* for 15% off _Order in increments of 6 to get free shipping_ 🎬 *Tools I use to make Videos* *A Camera:* https://amzn.to/4eyoXwq *B Camera:* https://amzn.to/3YbkU3B *Microphone:* https://amzn.to/3XQ70m2 *Lights:* https://amzn.to/3XYE4Z2 *Music:* https://epidemicsound.com/referral/0p0ysi 🎶 MaD Playlist: https://www.epidemicsound.com/playlist/jc578rte2ii0xcl5aaq5vn8tz7l6fv81/ _Some links are affiliate links that may lead to a commission paid to the channel_ 📃 *Episode Chapters* 📃 00:00 Introduction 02:22 Making the Golden Barnacle 03:26 Golden Barnacle Recipe Card 03:36 Drinking the Golden Barnacle 📖 *Recipe(s)* 📖 1 oz Don's Mix (60 ml) or: - ½ oz grapefruit juice (15 ml) - ¼ oz cinnamon syrup (7.5 ml) - ¼ oz honey syrup (7.5 ml) ½ oz fresh lime juice (15 ml) ½ oz Pimento Dram (15 ml) ½ oz pot still Jamaican rum (15 ml) 1 oz rhum agricole blanc (60 ml) *Tiki: Modern Tropical Cocktails* has a specific recipe for Don's Mix that is half grapefruit and half cinnamon honey syrup.
