SAPS Commander at Serious and Organised Crime Unit, Colonel Bhekikhaya Nazo, has told the KZN High Court in Durban that fraud examiner, and Paul O'Sullivan's former assistant, Sarah-Jane Trent, was a complainant in the Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla case.
Nazo testified that Trent opened a case against Zuma-Sambudla after seeing extreme social media posts during the July 2021 unrest.
He also noted that he retrieved an administrative affidavit directly from his commander at national police headquarters, and subsequently met with Trent who told him that she was pursuing further components of the investigation.
The state argues that Zuma-Sambudla used her social media to incite violence and encourage people to engage in violent acts under #FreeJacobZuma.
