THE CURE Officially Creeped Me Out

🚨 GET YOUR MERCH! 👉 https://shoplowend.com --------------------------------------------------- ➡️ It’s been way too long since I’ve had The Cure back on the channel, and “Lullaby” was probably the perfect song to fix that during Halloween week. What immediately got me was the contrast between this huge, fat groove underneath and everything else feeling so eerie, claustrophobic, and almost deranged. Robert Smith’s whispery vocal, the little synth and string layers, and Simon Gallup’s short, punchy bass notes all keep adding tiny details without ever breaking the spell. That’s becoming one of my favorite things about this band: you’re not waiting for one giant payoff, you just have to sit inside the atmosphere and let all those little moments creep up on you. --------------------------------------------------- 0:00 Intro 0:33 Reaction / Analysis 11:27 Final Thoughts --------------------------------------------------- 📺 MORE 'THE CURE' REACTIONS: ▶️ "A FOREST" -    • This song is a feeling. First Listen to TH...   ▶️ "FASCINATION STREET" -    • THE CURE are hypnotic. Bass Teacher REACTS...   --------------------------------------------------- Mark Michell is an internationally-touring and recording bass player known for his work with Scale the Summit, Tony MacAlpine, Tetrafusion, Watermox, and more.
