Yeah, But What If Healing Is Blocked? | Deconstruct Week 8

What if God's timing isn't the problem? What if they don't have enough faith? What if there's hidden sin? Sometimes our biggest objections about healing don't keep us from believing for ourselves, they keep us from praying for someone else. In Week 8 of DECONSTRUCT, we continue putting our assumptions about healing through the truth of Scripture. We look at some of the questions that can make us hesitate: • What about God's timing? • What if they don't have enough faith? • What if there's hidden sin in their life? • Do I need to understand everything before I pray? When we look at Jesus, we don't see Him making sick people solve the mystery before He helped them. So maybe the goal isn't to have an answer for every objection. Maybe it's simply this: Stop the objection. Start the obedience. When someone in front of you needs prayer, you don't have to figure everything out first. Love them. Pray for them. Trust God.
