Driving to an Ancient Village in Shanxi, China 4K HDR - The Great Wall & Winding Road

On this trip We will continue driving on Taihang No.1 Highway Start point located at XinGuan Village, PingDing County, Shanxi Province. Near the start point, you can see the famous Guguan Great Wall. Built in 369 BC and further reinforced during the Ming Dynasty, the Great Wall is an important pass between Shanxi and Hebei. Together with Juyongguan, Zijingguan, and Pouring Horse Pass, it was known as the four most famous passes in the western part of Beijing during the Ming Dynasty. We drive along the winding valleys in the Taihang Mountains. Via Niangzi Pass It was named after Princess Pingyang, the sister of Tang Emperor Li Shimin, who once led an army to guard it. The terrain here is dangerous, with the Mianshan Mountains at its back, deep valleys, the Peach River surrounding it, and the Great Wall winding through the mountains. Afterwards, we continue along Taihang Highway No.1 and drive into Guandao Liang. This section is a mountain top highway with a wide view and beautiful scenery.
