Cashew has arrived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and her latest hotel inspection comes with one very important question: Did anyone measure for CORGI CLEARANCE? Our room at Tru by Hilton was the smallest room of the road trip so far. There was barely room for Cashew’s regular steps, which meant absolutely NO Royal Staircase. The human suitcase took up most of the space beside the bed, Mahm’s papers nearly buried the official hotel inspector, and the outdoor sniff situation was…disappointing. There were no treats waiting for Her Royal Shortness, either. But it wasn’t all bad. Cashew was allowed to join the humans for breakfast — a major improvement over being banished from the food area — AND she discovered a Royal Chariot for touring the hotel in proper corgi style. Plus, Albuquerque provided something Mahm found absolutely fascinating: hot air balloons everywhere. Cashew’s reaction? Considerably less enthusiastic.
