My Life in China Took a Completely Unexpected Turn

In this video, I’m taking you inside my personal life in China and giving you an update on what’s been happening over the past few months. Until very recently, I had been living in Chengdu for almost three years. But after spending so much time there, I felt like it was time for a change. I wanted to move to Guangdong province, and more specifically, Guangzhou, because I felt there might be more opportunities for me there. But, as I quickly found out, moving to a new city in China as a foreigner isn’t always as simple as it sounds. Over the past two months, I’ve been going back and forth between Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong for all kinds of different reasons. What was supposed to be a relatively straightforward move turned into a much more complicated process than I ever expected. So in today’s video, I want to take you along with me and show you what I’ve actually been up to in all these different cities, why I haven’t been uploading for a while, and what’s really been going on behind the scenes with my move to southern China.
