Western Gated Mast: Safetran Base, Safetran Gate Mechanism, RECO LED Gate Lights, 2 Safetran 12x24” GE Uniform Look LEDs and a Low-Pitched Siemens Electronic Bell. Western Cantilever: 6 Safetran 12x20” GE Uniform Look LEDs. Far-Eastern Pedestrian Signal: Safetran Base and a Safetran Gate Mechanism. Eastern Pedestrian Signal: Safetran Base, Safetran Gate Mechanism and a WCH Mechanical Bell! Mid-Eastern Pedestrian Signal: Safetran Base, and a Safetran Gate Mechanism. Mid-Western Pedestrian Signal: Safetran Base, Safetran Gate Mechanism and a Safetran Mechanical Bell! Western Pedestrian Signal: Safetran Base and a Safetran Gate Mechanism. Far-Western Pedestrian Signal: Safetran Base, Safetran Gate Mechanism and a WCH Type 2 Electronic Bell! Zone: Quiet Zone. Light Pattern: Normal. Bell Sequence: Bells ring through the entire activation. Date: June 14, 2023 Filming Device: Canon VIXIA HF R800 This crossing was an amazing one to record! Even if the road signals have bells that are boring, at least you have proximity to nearby pedestrian signals, which have amazing Mechanical Bells! The road signals were built in the very early 1970s and both signals would’ve had GRS XC 8” Incandescent Lights and RACO Mechanical Bells would’ve been installed and in 1977, when the LRT would’ve started construction, pedestrian signals were added, including on the Vegreville Sub and would’ve had Safetran Mechanical Bells. However, in the 1980s or 1990s, Track 1, along with the eastern gated mast would’ve received WCH Mechanical Bells. Then in either 2013 or 2014, most of the mechanical bells would all be replaced. The eastern gated road signal would receive the current Siemens E-Bell, the CN Vegreville Sub pedestrian signals would receive a WCH Type 2 on the western signal and finally, the western road signals would’ve received a reused Low-Tone Safetran Type 3 E-Bell, while everything else would stay the same. However, the Safetran Type 3 would be short-lived, as in 2015, it would be replaced with the current Low-Tone Siemens E-Bell. Also in 2015, all of the lights would be replaced. The cantilevers would receive the current Safetran 12x20” GE Uniform Look LED lights while the gated masts on the road signals received the current Safetran 12x24” GE Uniform Look LED lights.
