Z pamiętnika: Żukowo Zachodnie i manewry Ok1-359 // Steam shunting at closed rail line (2008)

26.08.2008 | Krótka wizyta parowozu Ok1-359 ze składem retro (boczniaki i wagon gospodarczy, robiący za brankard) na dawnej stacji Żukowo Zachodnie. Skład parokrotnie najeżdżał i manewrował po torze głównym i dodatkowym, co było nie lada gratką dla lokalnych pasjonatów (ostatni pasażerski w 1994); jednak do nie wszystkich miejsc był dostęp, gdyż sam pociąg był eksponatem filmowym - kręcono wtedy film "Gdynia miasto z morza i marzeń", a sama stacyjka Żukowo Zachodnie udawała filmową Gdynię. Robiłem co mogłem, żeby dało się to oglądać, mam nadzieję, że mizerną jakość zrekompensuje wartość archiwalna - kto wtedy myślał o nagrywaniu filmów na Youtube... :) Film ze szczególną dedykacją dla szlakowca! 26th August 2008 | Short visit of steam loco Ok1-359 with retro cars at closed Zukowo Zachodnie station. The train made several arrivals and shunting at the station, being a rarity for the locals and rail enthusiasts (last passenger here arrived in 1994). Some parts of the station were enclosed, as the movie was being shot at that moment and the train itself was ‘an actor’ as well (the movie’s called Gdynia miasto z morza i marzen) and the station was set to imitate the old and nonexistent today station in Gdynia. I hope that the quality will compensate for the archive value of this shot.
