Pithikapuram Vanam – A New Green Landmark of Pithapuram 🌿 Pithikapuram Vanam, a new Urban Forest in Pithapuram, was inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan. Developed under the Central Government’s Nagar Van Yojana at a cost of approximately ₹1.83 crore, the six-acre urban forest aims to provide a clean, green and pleasant environment for the people of Pithapuram. Key attractions include the Nakshatra Vanam (Star Forest), Shiva Panchayatan Vanam, Miyawaki Forest, Butterfly Park, and a large pond. The project has transformed a former dumping yard into a green public space, combining nature, recreation and Pithapuram’s spiritual heritage.
