I know this game is old but in my opinion it's still one of the best games ever made. I did this the same way as I did my Doom 3 playthrough, fast and to the point, taking easy shortcuts where possible, but still taking detours for useful items if it's worth the effort. This game is really not that hard on it's highest difficulty, you just have to be a little more careful. Hard difficulty in Half-Life means: Enemies take more hits to kill You take more damage from enemy attacks Some enemies attack faster Health stations give up to 25 hp HEV stations give up to 35 ap Medkits give 10 hp Batteries give 10 ap Level specific notes: The final chapter of the game (not counting the final boss). At the beginning, just rush to the cave or vortigaunts and controllers will start attacking you. I skip the platform jumping here and jump straight from the rising pole to the teleporter. In the next part make sure the alien grunts don't see you, or more of them will be dropped in. The gargantua can be completely avoided. Don't attack the vortigaunts in the factory bit, and they'll leave you alone. The final parts are really tough, controllers, grunts and vortigaunts are everywhere, so take it slow and careful. Use your big weapons, but make sure you save some for the final boss. When you get to the big shaft-like area, try to kill as much as you can from below, so you only have to deal with the controllers when you're going up. Thanks and have fun watching!
