Tank Time with Tim is back from IPMS Penncon 2026 — and we brought home some GOLD!

In this episode, I’m sharing my experience at IPMS Penncon 2026 and taking a look at the two dioramas I entered in the show. I brought along my Panzer IV Tank Riders winter diorama as well as my Sturmtiger diorama, and I’m very happy to say that both builds received Gold Medals! 2 Dioramas. 2 Gold Medals! We’ll take a look at the builds, talk about the show, the judging results, and some of my thoughts after putting these projects out on the competition table. As always, there’ll be plenty of modeling talk and probably a little wandering off topic along the way. For me, these builds have been about trying new techniques, learning as I go, making mistakes, fixing what I can, and hopefully getting a little better with every model. Seeing both projects earn Gold at Penncon was a pretty awesome way to cap them off.
