Hello, little minds! Welcome to Jan and Jeevi Kids TV! 🔢🍎🦆 Today we count from one to twenty! Twenty smiling number friends dance in a sunny garden, and then every number from 1 to 20 drops in with a bounce, says hello and shows us how many it means. Count along as the things pop up one by one: one apple, two ducks, three balloons, four butterflies, five strawberries, all the way up to twenty bananas! After that we march along with the numbers in a counting song in the classroom, play a "How many?" quiz on the stage, and finish with a happy number dance party. This bright counting video for toddlers and preschoolers helps children aged 2 to 5 learn the numbers 1 to 20 in the right order, the number names in English, and how many each number stands for. The narrator speaks slowly and clearly, every number is big and easy to see, its name pops up in large letters, and the words are written on the screen as the narrator says them. Each thing has its own fun sound: the ducks quack, the toy cars beep, the birds tweet and the balls boing! ⏰ CHAPTERS 0:00 Hello! One apple 2. Two ducks 3. Three balloons 4. Four butterflies 5. Five strawberries 6. Six fish 7. Seven stars 8. Eight flowers 9. Nine toy cars 10. Ten oranges Each number says its name, "Number three!", and then the things appear one at a time as we count together: "One! Two! Three!" Then a big cheer: "Three balloons!" The things stand in neat rows of five, so little eyes can see the groups and count them easily. 🔢 COUNT WITH US: NUMBERS 11 TO 20 11. Eleven birds 12. Twelve pencils 13. Thirteen cupcakes 14. Fourteen ladybugs 15. Fifteen balls 16. Sixteen candies 17. Seventeen shells 18. Eighteen teddy bears 19. Nineteen kites 20. Twenty bananas For the bigger numbers, the first ten things arrive together in a box as we say "Ten!", and then we count on: "Eleven! Twelve! Thirteen!" It is a gentle first look at how teen numbers are made of ten and some more. 🎵 THE COUNTING SONG In the classroom, all twenty numbers march past in a happy parade. One number every two beats, each one jumps up as we say its name, and the number chart on the board fills up from 1 to 20. Clap along and count out loud! ❓ QUIZ TIME: HOW MANY? Balloons, strawberries and flowers appear in the spotlight. How many can you count? Take your time, point and count, then watch the question mark slowly turn into the answer: three balloons, five strawberries and eight flowers! ❓ QUESTIONS TO ASK AFTER WATCHING • Which number brought the ducks? How many ducks were there? • What comes after ten? • How many teddy bears did we count? • Can you count your fingers? How many are there? • Which number is your favourite? 👩‍🏫 WHAT YOUR CHILD LEARNS • Numbers 1 to 20 in the correct order • Number names in English, from one to twenty • Counting objects one by one, matching each number to its amount • Seeing groups of five and ten • Counting on from ten for the teen numbers • Listening, rhythm and joining in with a counting song • New words: apple, duck, balloon, butterfly, strawberry, fish, star, flower, toy car, orange, bird, pencil, cupcake, ladybug, ball, candy, shell, teddy bear, kite and banana 👨‍👩‍👧 IDEAS FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS • Count along out loud and point at each thing as it pops up. • Pause the video and ask, "How many can you see?" • Count real things at home: spoons, shoes, toys or steps on the stairs. • Make groups of ten with blocks, then add one more to make eleven. • Sing the counting song together at bath time or bedtime. • Ask, "What is your favourite number?" and dance together like the numbers! • Great for preschool, nursery, kindergarten, play school and homeschool maths lessons. 🌈 ABOUT JAN AND JEEVI KIDS TV Jan and Jeevi Kids TV makes bright, gentle learning cartoons for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten kids.
