God will open doors | Mark Howard

What happens when God gives a successful entrepreneur a purpose bigger than his business? At 55 years old, Mark Howard had built a successful precast concrete company but had never opened a Bible. After attending an event hosted by legendary NFL coach Joe Gibbs, Mark gave his life to Christ. That decision set him on an unexpected journey from building a business to helping transform lives inside North Carolina prisons. In this episode, Mark shares how his friendship with Joe Gibbs led to a prison ministry that equips incarcerated men with bachelor's degrees in pastoral studies and prepares them to serve others. Mark also reflects on the lessons he learned through decades of entrepreneurship, the importance of discipline and persistence, and how God can use ordinary business skills for an extraordinary purpose. *In this conversation:* Discovering a new calling at 55 years old Building a successful business while pursuing ministry Learning leadership and faith from Joe Gibbs Using business skills to make a lasting Kingdom impact Bringing education, faith, and hope into prisons Taking small steps of faith toward a bigger purpose Whether you're building a business, considering your next chapter, or wondering how God might use your experience beyond the workplace, Mark's story is a reminder that it's never too late to discover a greater purpose.
