Quake Beta Oddities

Welcome back, my friends. In the past, I've looked at Doom's Alpha and Beta versions, which had quite a few interesting differences and peculiarities, so it was only natural to explore some more Beta content... in this case - Quake! We'll take a look at the ancient "Qtest" - the world's first taste of Quake, as well as the actual Beta, which is almost like the finished game, but with some missing stuff, some rearranged stuff, and even some weird stuff.
