Best Gujarati Food in Mumbai ! In today’s Mumbai food vlog, Priyanka Tiwari visits VARSOO, the newest elevated Gujarati dining experience by the legendary owners of SOAM — the restaurant that celebrity chef Vikas Khanna once called one of the best restaurants in India! ✨
This experience was all about authentic flavours, nostalgia, and indulgence that's hard to find in a Gujarati Thali in Mumbai ;)
Here’s everything i had :-
🍹 Jamun Masala – ₹350
A refreshing jamun cooler with lime, cumin and black salt — tangy, chatpata and perfect for Mumbai weather.
🥣 Drumstick Soup – ₹350
A warm, mildly flavoured drumstick puree soup that was light, comforting and packed with flavour.
👑 Family Pani Puri Royale – ₹490An elevated royal-style golgappa experience with multiple flavoured paanis and delicious fillings. Crispy puris paired with sweet, spicy and tangy flavours made this one of the most fun dishes of the meal!
🥗 Cucumber Peanut Salad – ₹350
Chilled cucumber tossed with roasted peanuts, green chilli and lemon dressing — fresh, crunchy and refreshing.
🧀 Palak Cheese Samosa – ₹430Golden fried samosas stuffed with spinach and cheese filling — perfectly crispy outside with a rich, creamy and cheesy centre. A delicious fusion twist on classic Gujarati farsaan!
🫓 Farasan Platter – ₹490A beautiful Gujarati starter platter featuring delicacies like dhokla, patra cubes, muthiya and ghughra served with chutneys. A perfect way to experience authentic Gujarati farsaan together.

Soft, thin and packed with flavour, each variation had its own unique taste and texture — simple yet incredibly satisfying.
🫓 Assorted Bhakhri Basket – ₹390A selection of crisp handcrafted Gujarati bhakhris served with the meal, featuring different textures and flavours. These rustic flatbreads paired perfectly with the Sev Tameta and traditional Gujarati mains, adding an authentic homestyle touch to the experience.

Tangy red tomato curry topped with sev, served with crispy ajwain bhakhri — one of the most satisfying dishes of the meal.
🍚 Moongbhari Dal, Rice & Laal Batata – ₹550
Rustic Gujarati-style dal meal with coconut milk, tempered spices and comforting flavours.
🍨 Akhrot Halwa Khaja Cups with Malai Kulfi – ₹450
Warm walnut halwa served in a crispy khaja cup paired with creamy malai kulfi — rich, royal and absolutely indulgent.
