How much house can you actually get for 30,000 baht a month in Hua Hin — and what changes when you spend 55,000? In this video, I look at three very different homes around Hua Hin and Cha-Am, from around 28,000 baht a month all the way up to 55,000.
I'm joined by Belle from Belle Asset, who takes me around each property and explains what you get for your money, what's included and how the properties compare.
Disclosure: I was invited by Belle Asset to view these three properties. I was not paid to make this video and received no compensation for filming it.

In this video, I look at:
Three different rental properties around Hua Hin and Cha-Am
What you can get for around 28,000–30,000 baht a month
What changes when you spend 55,000 baht a month
A three-bedroom pool villa with private outdoor space
A smaller pool villa with communal facilities
A brand-new house without a private swimming pool
The difference in size, facilities and outdoor space
Private pools versus communal facilities

What you actually get for your money in Hua Hin
Which property I would personally choose
Whether spending more on your home is worth it
The three properties are very different. The most expensive one was the one I liked most, but there's a big difference between the house I'd choose if money wasn't an issue and the house I'd actually want to spend my own money on.
If you're planning to retire or move to Hua Hin, it's worth thinking about what you actually need from your home. Do you want a private swimming pool and more outdoor space? Would you rather have a newer property? Or would you prefer to spend less on rent and keep more money for the rest of your life in Thailand?
👇 Which of the three properties would you choose — and how much would you actually be prepared to spend on your home in Thailand?
