Frank Hino - Flying Dream

FRANK-HINO – FLYING DREAM Country: Italy Year: 1985 Label: Sensation Records Catalog No.: SNS 8032 Version: Vocal Version Programmed by: Egisto Bitossi Recorded at: Punto Musica-Emme Studio, Florence Format: 12" Style: Italo Disco “Flying Dream” is one of those fantastic mid-80s Italo Disco tracks that remained largely hidden outside the dedicated collector scene. Released in Italy in 1985 on Sensation Records, the track combines hypnotic synthesizer sequences, spiraling arpeggios, a charismatic vocal and an unmistakably dreamy atmosphere. There are also some surprisingly powerful, almost rock-influenced passages that give the production its own distinctive character. The recording was created at Punto Musica-Emme Studio in Florence and programmed by Egisto Bitossi. The original 12" contains the Vocal Version together with a shorter Dub Version. Over the years, “Flying Dream” became a highly sought-after record among collectors and is a wonderful example of the deeper and more obscure side of Italian Italo Disco from the golden era. Sit back and enjoy a journey back in time to an incredibly horny era. On your voyage, you will only find REAL 80s ITALO DISCO – without Euro Disco like Bad Boys Blue, Fancy, Silent Circle or Modern Talking. Great music, no doubt – but no Italo Disco.
