This morning, the air felt milder but quite windy. The warmth will continue into the weekend, but heavy rain is in the forecast for Sunday. Widespread rain will move across the country on Sunday, with heavy downpours expected in the central regions from the afternoon, along with strong winds. Take the weather into account if you are planning autumn outings. Back to today's forecast, after spotty rain in the upper region, sunshine could be returning to the capital area with a high of 23 degrees Celsius in Seoul; southern regions will be under mostly sunny skies with a high of 25 degrees Celsius in Daegu. Sunday's nationwide rain could linger into Tuesday in southern regions and Jeju. Once the system moves away, colder air will sweep in, bringing a sharp drop in temperatures next week.
