Keeper of My Journey

The Keeper of My Journey | A Song of Trust, Faith & Surrender The Keeper of My Journey is a heartfelt Christian worship song about trusting God through uncertainty, waiting seasons, unanswered prayers, and the challenges of life's journey. Inspired by *Psalm 121 and the Psalms of Ascents (Psalms 120–134)*, this song reminds us that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Life is a pilgrimage of faith. There are mountains to climb, valleys to cross, tears to sow, and seasons when the road ahead is unclear. Yet through it all, God remains our faithful Keeper. This worship song is a declaration that our confidence is not rooted in favourable circumstances, answered prayers, or knowing what tomorrow holds. Our confidence rests in the unchanging character and faithfulness of God. “I need not know what waits tomorrow To be held by You today. You are more than all I've asked for; You are home along the way.” These lyrics reflect the heart of the song: learning to surrender control, rest in God's presence, and trust Him even when the journey takes unexpected turns. 📖 Biblical Inspiration Psalm 121:1–8 — My help comes from the Lord, the Keeper of my life. Psalm 125:1–2 — Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion. Psalm 126:5–6 — Those who sow in tears shall reap with joy. Psalm 127:1–2 — Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Psalm 130:5–6 — Waiting for the Lord and hoping in His Word. Psalm 131:1–3 — A quieted soul resting in God. 🙏 A Prayer for Every Pilgrim Heavenly Father, teach us to trust You beyond what we can see. When the journey becomes difficult, remind us that You neither slumber nor sleep. When answers seem delayed, draw our hearts closer to You. When our strength fails, sustain us by Your grace. May we discover that the greatest blessing of the journey is not simply reaching our destination, but growing in communion with You along the way. Amen. ❤️ Join the Journey If this song encourages you, please like, share, and subscribe for more Scripture-inspired Christian worship songs exploring faith, spiritual growth, God's promises, and the believer's journey with Him.
