Final Ride: EPIC Otis Traction Elevator - Fairmont Winnipeg, Winnipeg

This is the final ride on the only original elevator left at the Fairmont Winnipeg. At the time of this recording, the elevator on the right had finished its mod. The middle one was under modernization, and this one, the one on the left was original. This video was filmed on one of the last days this hotel was open before it closes for renovations. As of uploading, this hotel is closed for renovations and will not open for about a year. Once they reopen, the old elevators will be gone. It's really too bad that they would mod these elevators because they worked just fine and were very fun to ride. The new elevator is boring, ugly and generic. The staff and managment at this hotel has been horribly rude and unhelpful with all my requests to get parts from these. This horrible mod combined with the rude, unhelpful staff can easily make this one of the worst, if the the worst hotel I have ever been to.
