Metal Fans Didn't Know Her. Then This. | Nene Royal x A7X Unholy Confessions | Grammy Member Reacts

Metal fans didn't know her. Then this. My Nene Royal Avenged Sevenfold reaction: Unholy Confessions, live in Singapore. As a Grammy voting member, songwriter and Estill-qualified vocal producer, I wanted to know what it was really like inside that arena, and so many of you who were there told me. The Avenged Sevenfold crowd didn't really know who Nene was at first, even though she was their support act. Nobody needed to talk them into liking her. She won them over completely by herself, just by being herself and playing and singing amazingly, and she gained a whole chunk of metal fans who are very much her kind of people. So many of you asked for Unholy Confessions under my Bat Country reaction, so here it is. And yes, I know Nene is from Thailand, not Singapore. My brain just fell out in the last video! This one has the longest screamed section I've heard from her, and that bright, twangy, forward tone cuts straight through a wall of guitars and quadruple-speed drums. In this reaction I break down: 🤘 Metal fans didn't know her: how Nene won over the Avenged Sevenfold crowd, from those of you who were there 🎸 That double-length Avenged Sevenfold intro, and the harmony Nene adds over it 🤝 Why guest spots with established bands usually look awkward, and why Nene slots right in with no ego 🎤 The longest screamed section I've heard from Nene, balanced with M. Shadows 🗣️ Twang: why her bright, forward tone cuts through dense guitars and quadruple-speed drums 🏆 You asked about a Grammy for Nene: how submissions actually work 🎭 Stagecraft she was never taught: when to share a mic, when to come forward, all unrehearsed 🌈 My synesthetic colour report: A7X's steely dark blue-grey, with Nene as an orange beacon shooting up through it Watching her, it's like watching your own child succeed. But it's so easy to crush young people in the wheel of the music industry, and someone like Nene is something to be protected and cared for. We need to make sure she's doing the things that are right for her, and I think we'll see incredible things from her in the future. 📺 More of Nene on this channel: Bat Country with Avenged Sevenfold    • SHE DIDN'T EVEN REHEARSE! | Nene Royal & A...   Linkin Park + the AGT win    • SHE DID IT! Nene Royal Wins AGT | Linkin P...   The Warning, Kerosene    • THIS CAN'T BE TAUGHT! | Nene Royal & The W...   Skyfall with the Ozone Band    • I've Never Heard Nene Royal Do THIS Before...   ═════ CHAPTERS ═════ 0:00 Sawadee ka: Nene Royal and Avenged Sevenfold, Unholy Confessions 1:28 That double-length A7X intro 2:07 Why guest spots look awkward, and why Nene's doesn't 3:45 Metal fans didn't know her: what you told me from the arena 6:33 Not pulling focus: why Nene was the right choice 9:13 Her longest scream yet, and why her twang cuts through 10:36 Could Nene Royal get a Grammy for Unholy Confessions? 12:55 Stagecraft nobody rehearsed 16:33 Protecting Nene in the music industry 17:20 My colour report: steely blue-grey and an orange beacon 🎵 ORIGINAL VIDEO — Nene Royal x Avenged Sevenfold – Bat Country + Unholy Confessions 13 Oct 2026 (Multi-Cam Fan-Edit)    • Nene Royal x Avenged Sevenfold – Bat Count...   🎸 Support Nene Royal:    / @neneroyalmusic   —   / neneroyalmusic   — https://neneroyal.com 🤘 Avenged Sevenfold:    / @avengedsevenfold   👇 Were you in the arena that night?
