Since I got the day off of work on Monday, I decided to check out the Pedley Metrolink Station, mainly for the morning commuter rush and also because it is one of the least railfanned stations within the Los Angeles area. This station is situated along the Union Pacific Los Angeles Subdivision and is part of the Metrolink Riverside Line that runs from Los Angeles Union Station to Downtown Riverside. This line is currently limited to only weekday service. The UP LA Subdivision does have freight movement, but is much less frequent in comparison to the Union Pacific Alhambra Subdivision that runs parallel to the north. Note : As of October 3, 2016, Metrolink has officially changed the name of this station to Jurupa Valley / Pedley Station in response to the incorporation of the city of Jurupa Valley, California. Train 1 : Metrolink #403 with CabCar #643 & F59PHI #880. Train 2 : Metrolink #405 with CabCar #675 & MP36PH-3C #896. Train 3 : Metrolink #407 with CabCar #667 & F59PH #862. Friendly conductor on Metrolink #407. Train 4 : Union Pacific AMLYR-18 with C44ACCTE #7084, ES44AC #870(CSX), & SD40-2 #8071(CSX). Train 5 : Metrolink #409 with CabCar #659 & F59PH #871. After this train, I wouldn't see any more action for five grueling hours until Union Pacific LMLRS-18 appeared ! Train 6 : Union Pacific LMLRS-18 with SD60M #2460 & #2507. This local was moving cars from the Mira Loma Yard to the Arlington Yard. Train 7 : Union Pacific ERSML-18 with SD60M #2507 & #2460. Same set returning to Mira Loma after dropping off the cars at Arlington Yard. Train 8 : Metrolink #402 with F59PH #852 & CabCar #669. Thanks for Watching !
