Summer Adventure - Dover Priory & Huntingdon Railway Stations

We arrive back into The UK after an amazing holiday in France and head, pretty much straight away, to the nearest station, Dover Priory. We had a great evening seeing South Eastern trains including a Javelin which Tommy was really excited to see. After staying in Dover overnight, it was then Daddy's task to pick a suitable station on our way back home in the North East, and after lots of looking at maps, Huntington was chosen. Huntingdon is on The East Coast Mainline and so we saw our usual LNER Azumas. We also saw a few LNER Inter City trains, getting a brilliant blast from the For The Fallen livery. We also so some Thameslink trains which we're not used to seeing, getting a fantastic horn blast (and a chat) from one very nice driver. We managed to hang around just long enough to catch a GBRf Class 66 freight locomotive before heading back to the car for the torturous drive up the A1. We should mention the extremely friendly station staff at Huntingdon Railway Station who were very eager to chat to Tommy and offer their local knowledge. A great way to end our Summer Adventure.
