First released over twenty years ago under the trio’s OceanLab alias, ‘Sky Falls Down’ remains one of the most frequently referenced trance anthems in the Anjuna catalog. The 2003 original, famously remixed by industry heavyweight Armin van Buuren, became a global club staple and a regular feature on A State of Trance throughout the decade. Now, Above & Beyond bring Justine Suissa’s unmistakable, ethereal vocals to the forefront. Due December 3 on Anjunachill, the wider 16-track collection brings together music spanning generations of the label, with artists including Above & Beyond, OceanLab, Jaytech, Luminary, Smith & Pledger, Andrew Bayer, Dusky, Jody Wisternoff and PROFF. Alongside ‘Sky Falls Down’, Above & Beyond contribute five more new reworks of label classics to the compilation including ‘Sun & Moon,’ Justin Blau & XIRA’s ‘Tokyo,’ Smith & Pledger’s ‘White,’ Luminary’s ‘Amsterdam’ and PROFF’s ‘Deep Orange.’ Listeners can experience the collection early at a special launch event on November 5, when Anjunachill takes over Polygon Portal in Soho for three sessions in 360° sound. Experience the world premiere playback of Above & Beyond's 'Anjuna:Chilled 01', a reimagining of 25 years of Anjuna in ambient and downtempo form, followed by two live performances from Cephas Azariah. Joined by a cellist and violinist, his latest LP, ‘conditions for observing light’ will be brought to life in 360° spatial audio – a special, one-off opportunity to be completely immersed in the world of the album. Sessions can be booked individually or as a bundle, with a limited number of tickets also including exclusive access to a signed ‘Anjuna:Chilled 01’ vinyl. Tickets on sale now. ‘Above & Beyond pres. Anjuna:Chilled 01’ is available now to pre-order digitally and as a limited-edition 2x12" gatefold release on transparent vinyl, via the Anjunastore.
