Camera: Sony Handycam FDR-AX53. Train consist: ETS 2008-2009 Siemens SD160NG set 1056-1041. This crossing is located on the ETS LRT Capital Line. Bell sequence: Bells ring until gates rise. Horn setting: Quiet zone. Signal on the left: A WCH base, a WCH gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights and 3 pairs of WCH 8" lights with Alstom LEDs. Signal on the right: A WCH base, a WCH gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights, 3 pairs of WCH 8" lights with Alstom LEDs and a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell. For the remainder of April 20th, 2025, I decided to film and refilm the crossings around Health Sciences/Jubilee Station and and slightly south of there. Here is the re-recording of this crossing that is much different from my original video of it in 2019. Here we see an ETS Metro Line LRT train arriving at the southern terminus station with a 2-car Siemens SD160NG set. Since my original video of the crossing back in 2019, there has been a major change. The unique Safetran signals that sported NOVAX DS100 speakers, 6” GE mini LED lights and one of the very few Safetran gate mechanisms on ETS were replaced with these new WCH gated signals, which were put in place in 2020. The equipment is the usual pedestrian setup on ETS, with this crossing sporting a GS Type 3 E-Bell while the far one sporting a WCH E-Bell (a video will be released of that crossing sometime in the future). Overall, still quite a shame the pretty weird and unique signals that once stood here are now history. Please comment, like and subscribe!
