Frigid Air Buttress 5.9+ (Pitch 6) - Climbing Red Rock Canyon, NV

There were a few steeper sections of climbing, and lots of figuring out where to go! I only placed a few cams on this pitch, and still got lots of rope drag! It started with a fun steeper section of stemming and face moves, then some romping around boulders and features until the last steep section. You could belay on the big ledge, and I think a lot of people do, but I chose to climb the fun hueco wall up to a little ledge below the final crux pitch. The descent off the top is a bit involved, so make sure you have some light still to figure it out. Route info: Frigid Air Buttress 5.9+ at the Frigid Air Buttress in Red Rock Canyon, NV. Trad route, 7 pitches, 800ft. Descend via involved scrambling, rappelling, walking to get to the main rappel line, and rappelling. One of the rappels is a stretcher with a 70m!
