Introduction to EPANET

This video provides a short introduction to EPANET, which is a water distribution system modeling tool developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The underlying mathematics for EPANET is based on pipe friction equations, mass balances at junctions, and energy balances around network loops. EPANET utilizes "features" to build a model network that include reservoirs, tanks, junctions, pipes, pumps, and valves.
