How to Apply a Custom Guitar Decal to a Gloss Strat Body

How to apply a custom guitar decal to a gloss white Strat body and a tremolo backplate, filmed on a made-to-order DTF decal for a custom Stratocaster build. The video follows the whole sequence: the tremolo bridge is dry-fitted and its position checked by hand and with a rule, so the artwork can be laid out around the hardware rather than hidden beneath it. The gloss is then wiped clean, since any dust left on the paint will read as a lump under the decal for good. The black decal is placed on the lower bout and burnished through its carrier film from the centre out to the edges, pushing air ahead of the squeegee, and the film is peeled back at a low angle. The same routine is repeated on the white tremolo backplate, which takes the graphic as cleanly as the painted body. The logo here is TWINZZ, made to order for a custom Strat build.
