🔋 Citroen e-C3 44 kWh electric ⚡DC charging (+ Opel Frontera EV, Fiat Grande Panda EV) | Car Scanner

Citroen e-C3 charging on DC-charger, short winter test (charging session was 21 minutes) 00:00 Intro 00:08 before charging 00:22 charging statistics 01:10 DC-charging 08:05 end of charging 08:15 idling 09:30 driving This car has NO pre-heating to DC-charger, so I arrived with relatively cold battery. Ambient temperature was 7 Celsius. During this DC-charging session I observed how "Battery Total Capacity Wh" increased in steps, whenever the Battery minimum temperature jumped 1°C. Citroen e-C3 is unique - no other EV shows such steps in "Battery Total Capacity" at every 1°C of battery minimum temperature:    • 🔋 Citroen e-C3 electric 🌡️ missing battery...   SOC displayed in the car is slightly different from SOC in Car Scanner - [BMS] Traction Battery SOC. Unfortunately, CarScanner cannot show SOC displayed on screens in Citroen e-C3. Unique feature - turning the key fully in ignition will stop the DC-charging session! To get radio and cabin fan (but without heating) you need to slowly turn the key until you reach Accessory mode, only then the OBD2 data transmission will start. For this reason I couldn't record the beginning of the DC-charging session because ignition had to be off before I could connect DC-cable and start charging. I couldn't charge e-C3 at Tesla Superchargers (open for all), failed many times Besides, I couldn't record AC-charging session, because turning the key (to start OBD2 data transmission) always ended the AC-session. Disconnecting the AC-cable wasn't easy, either. I had to lock-unlock the car several times, then had to enter the car and turn the ignition key on-off several times to finally release the cable from the charging socket in the car. Better be patient!
