🎹 Liebestraum No. 3 — Liszt Performed by NZT | Sotto Voce Franz Liszt's Liebestraum No. 3 in A-flat major translates to "Dream of Love". Composed in 1850, it is based on Ferdinand Freiligrath’s poem "O lieb, so lang du lieben kannst" (Love as long as you can). This is Liszt's most popular Liebestraum out of the three, and I aim to share its beauty and passion in this POV piano performance. To make the performance more unique and interesting I added some improvisation - ranging from a few extra octaves here and there, to more dramatic cadenzas inspired by Liszt's own virtuosic style.
