Roam Demo Video

Meet Roam! 🌎💌 We created Roam for the SVSD Design-a-Thon, and we're so excited to finally share what we've been working on! What started as an idea for a travel rating app slowly turned into something a lot more personal. We wanted to create a space where people could document their adventures, share their experiences, and find inspiration for wherever they're headed next. Throughout the process, we realized that more features didn't necessarily mean a better experience. After getting feedback, revisiting our ideas (many, many times), and figuring out what actually mattered, we started focusing on the little things that make traveling memorable. From postcards and passport stamps to playful interactions, we wanted Roam to feel less like filling out a review and more like collecting pieces of your journey. This project definitely challenged us to rethink our decisions, let go of ideas we were attached to, and have a little more fun with design. We're really proud of how far it's come, and there's still so much we'd love to explore! If you're interested, check out our prototype: https://roam-postcards.workspace-535627.ch...
