On 11th November 1983 the world was shown the first episode of my favourite British TV show, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. as a 40th anniversary celebration the first episode, If I were a Carpenter, was screened at Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle. Jimmy Nail made a surprise appearance and chatted about the show. the sound quality is OK, sorry for this! It was also my birthday so it was a super surprise and I got cancellation tickets due to it being fully booked! So I had an amazing night and may of cried when he came out. The AWP fansite did an awesome job arranging this. Enjoy!
