I Spent a CRAZY College Football Weekend With Deion Sanders & Tim Tebow

We spent four days on the road for the opening weekend of college football — and got a behind-the-scenes look at everything that goes into covering the sport at the highest level. We flew to Atlanta first thing Wednesday morning and went straight into meetings with Coach Prime before getting together with our Thursday Night College Football crew for dinner. Thursday was game day. We started the morning with prep, jumped on The Pat McAfee Show, went live on SportsCenter on Campus from Georgia Tech, and then called one of the craziest games of the weekend — Colorado beating Georgia Tech on a blocked field goal. We finally got to bed around 2 a.m., then turned around Friday morning for our first SEC Nation production meeting. From there, it was a full day of media, including SEC Now, The Paul Finebaum Show, SportsCenter, more prep, and everything that goes into getting ready for a three-hour live show. Then Saturday morning, we got to experience our first-ever SEC Nation from the inside — meetings, rehearsals, production, live TV, and a ton of behind-the-scenes moments you normally never get to see. Four days. Multiple shows. One wild football game. Very little sleep. This is what a college football weekend really looks like behind the scenes.
