When You Don’t Know What Today Will Bring, Pray This | Morning Prayer

You may not know what today will bring. A phone call could change your plans, an answer may take longer than expected, or a responsibility could require more strength than you feel you have. Before your mind tries to prepare for every possible outcome, begin this day in prayer. This Scripture-based morning prayer will help you place the unknown hours ahead into God’s care. Proverbs 27:1 reminds us that we do not know what a day may bring. That truth is not meant to make us afraid. It invites us to plan with humility, fulfill our responsibilities faithfully, and trust God when life unfolds differently than expected. During this prayer, we will bring God the decisions, conversations, work pressures, family concerns, financial responsibilities, and health questions that may be weighing on your heart. We will ask Him for wisdom when the next step is unclear, patience when answers are delayed, and grace when plans change. We will also pray for freedom from rehearsing situations that have not happened and from allowing past regret to control today. God does not ask you to understand every hour before you enter it. You can take the next faithful step knowing that His presence is not dependent on a predictable schedule. Even when circumstances remain uncertain, you are still seen, loved, and accompanied by Him.
