I didn't know Ghana's Central Region had this. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect at all. I just knew my company was sending us on a staff retreat and I had no choice but to show up. Turns out we ended up at Bon Hotel Crown Forest, this Ghanaian-owned resort tucked so far into the Central Region I genuinely felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. And then it turned into one of the most surprising two days I've had in a while — long planning meetings and team dinners on one side, and on the other, zebras, giraffes, a boat ride down the river, and quad biking.
