You need to cancel the left from moving, and I don't think using the Shurriken on it mattered because the right went down regardless. The final flinch was very crucial though. Bite has a higher chance to flinch but if you queue both Fiery Wrath and Bite together, and FW flinches before Bite then it messes up the queueing.
