The Cares Trail— the most spectacular hike in Spain?

If there is one place we liked the most, it was the Cares Trail in Picos de Europa National Park. An amazing pathway carved into towering limestone cliffs high above a turquoise river, deep in the mountains. You feel so small, yet contaminated with awe. We found goats, little waterfalls, tunnels, and snowy peaks in the distance. A truly spectacular trek.
