Mercedes SL55 AMG - CoPart bargain of a lifetime. What to look for BEFORE deciding to buy

This car comes up for auction at CoPart in the next few days, and what makes it particularly interesting, is that it is listed at water damaged. The UK has just had the hottest summer on record, so it seems strange to see this car listed as water damaged...maybe they made a mistake It is rare for an SL55’s to come up for auction at CoPart.
