Feel like the Maxigun is slept on against the Automatons, high rate of fire without reloading lets you completely wreck bot patrols if you can keep the recoil under control. Stun synergizes with the Maxigun here, especially against the shield devs as they lower their guard when stunned exposing themselves for easy takedowns. In this run, I use the Maxigun to help me solo clear an Automaton mission set at the max difficulty.
