Aaja re pardesi....a very beautiful song from the 1958 film Madhumati. Lata Mangeshkar received the First Filmfare Award as the Best Playback Singer for Aaja ra pardesi. This song was initially rejected by Bimal Roy as he felt that it didn't go with the mood of the film.
