On May 15, 1946, Dr. Fritz Sauter, counsel for Walter Funk, cross examined Albert Thoms, a witness called by prosecutor Thomas Dodd. As a councillor at the Reichsbank, he testified how the deliveries of gold and other valuables were actually made He detailed how the gold teeth were melted down and that he had seen tags from Auschwitz and Lublin.
