The Japanese Cut near Koror, Palau 🇵🇼 🇯🇵

The Japanese blasted this deep, navigable channel through Auluptagel/Ulebsechel Island in the Palau archipelago at a position directly south of the hamlet of Madalaii during the administrative period of the South Seas Mandate (1914 - 1944). It remains in use today.
