Mason had a lot of relationships on this show, but his one true passionate love was Mary Duvall. He also had a mature responsible relationship with Julia after Mary died. His relationship with Gina (Linda Gibbony) was hot and cold, neither one of them could really trust each other and yet they knew each other pretty well.
